This page compares the features of LibreOffice and Microsoft Office in several form factors. The comparisons divide major and pocket-size feature differences and as well includes notes on LibreOffice extensions. The comparison highlights differences and therefore does not display any features which are present in both function suites.

In that location are separate comparison tables available for:

  1. Desktop (notebooks, desktop computers): LibreOffice 7.3.ii (download) vs. Microsoft Office 2021 / 365
  2. Mobile (smartphones, tablets): LibreOffice-based mobile solutions (download) vs. Microsoft Office 365 mobile apps
  3. Online (web browser-based office): LibreOffice-based Collabora Online ([1] [two]) vs. Microsoft Office for the web). This section also includes the LibreOffice-based Chromebook App (Collabora Office 6.4.14 download [3]) for reasons explained in the department.
Note pin.svg

Information technology is a compilation by users and not an official document past the Certificate Foundation.
